Tatum and Brice were married on a beautiful, overcast winter day at Grant Hill Farms in Commerce, Georgia. It was one of those days where we were keeping a close eye on the weather as rain showers came and went. I’m a big believer that rain on your wedding day can be such a good thing! Not only is it good luck, but it also makes for some of the most beautiful bridal portraits!!
Tatum and Brice met through Brice’s mom and Tatum’s best friend’s mom (they are first cousins!) and from their first date they knew they would end up together forever. Almost exactly one year prior to their wedding, Brice proposed to Tatum on a weekend ski trip in Gatlinburg, Tennessee on a snowy mountain. One of my favorite things about these two is how laid back and sweet they are– they truly enjoyed every second of their wedding day and were so full of joy as they got married surrounded by their family and friends!
I also loved how they incorporated a few extra special details into their wedding day. Tatum’s garter was made from Brice’s grandmother’s wedding dress and she also carried her Grandfather’s University of Georgia class ring on her bouquet. These details were the sweetest touches to keep loved ones close to their hearts on their big day. They also were surprised with a live painting of their first dance (by the super talented Janibeth Outlaw!) which is something they will have to hang in their home and treasure forever.
Their day was such a dream from start to finish! I’m so excited to share some of my favorites from their winter wedding day!
