2018 has been FULL of travel. I looked back at my calendar today and counted 64 days of travel so far in 2018. 64 DAYS!! Crazy.
(Quick note: all of this “travel” wasn’t necessarily vacation, most of it was actually work-related, but still a lot of fun time on the road and seeing some new places!)
AND I still have 31 travel days coming up in the remainder of the year. Here’s a fun little breakdown of that time:
2018 Travel So Far:
31 Days: Miami / Key Largo, FL
11 Days: Virginia
8 Days: Colorado
4 Days: New Orleans, LA
3 Days: Charleston, SC
3 Days: Birmingham, AL
3 Days: Greensboro, GA
1 Day: Chattanooga, TN
2018 Upcoming Travel:
8 Days: Pacific NW (Washington and Oregon)
8 Days: Bonaire, Caribbean Netherlands
6 Days: Virginia
5 Days: Miami / Key Largo, FL
4 Days: Austin, TX
So if you’re a math person, that’s 26.03% of my 2018 have been/will be spent somewhere other than our home in Atlanta-whew! Just like I’m an extroverted-introvert, I also consider myself an adventurous-homebody. I love exploring new places and cultures, but I’m also the first to admit that home is truly the best destination. However, I’ve always said I want to travel as much as possible while I’m young (and before Patrick and I start a family!) so that got me thinking about my travel “bucket list”.
So today, I thought I would share that list with you all! Now I’m sure this list will evolve over my lifetime, but in this moment, these are the places I’ve dreamed about visiting. The destinations are in no particular order, but I *starred my very top picks!
