I'm so glad you've stopped by the blog! Have a look around as I share all about my recent work, fun travels and adventures, and a peek into my personal life as a wife and mama.
Last month, my Dad decided to take a leave of absence from work and embark on a much need sabbatical for the remainder of 2018. He has big plans for this upcoming time off centered on self-discovery (and you can read all about that on his new blog!) but his first stop with my Mom was to visit Patrick and I in Atlanta, Georgia.
My parents hadn’t been to Atlanta since February 2011 when we visited Georgia Tech while I was making my final college decision. (As most of you know, I ended up deciding on the other “Tech” and staying in-state for college- Go Hokies!). But needless to say 7 years later, now that I’m an Atlanta “local” I had a lot to show them during their visit.
I complied an entire itinerary for their visit of all the “must-see” spots to visit, and here are pictures from along the way.
Day One: World of Coca-Cola, The Varsity, Georgia Tech, The Georgia Aquarium
Day Two: Georgia History Museum, The Swan House, Piedmont Park
Day Three: Hiking in North Georgia (Raven Cliff Falls), Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Mountain Fresh Creamery, B’s Cracklin’ BBQ
Day Four: Spending time with our Georgia relatives
Until next time, Mom and Dad!!
xoxo,
Marybeth
