Amanda and Chandler’s wedding day was so full of joy!! Although the weather called for rain all week long, we had a beautiful, clear, spring day with the most glowy sunset! Their wedding day was sweet and intentional, with lots of focus on the little in-between moments. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Amanda and Chandler exchanged gifts– Amanda gave Chandler a journal that she had been writing in since the beginning of their engagement and Chandler built Amanda the most beautiful bench for their new home. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room when Amanda realized that the beautiful bench she was sitting on was handmade by Chandler!
These two actually met all the way back when they were freshman in high school! They quickly became best friends and they strengthened their friendship by spending two summers together in Honduras. Chandler always had feelings for Amanda, and when they were juniors in college Amanda realized she was falling for him, too! They went on their first date to Cracker Barrel and the rest is history! Chandler asked Amanda to marry him in February 2018 while on a trip to Greenville, SC (their favorite spot for a weekend getaway!). They were beyond excited to get married and celebrate their love with family and friends.
Amanda and Chandler were married at the Cotton Mill Event Venue in Jefferson, Georgia. This venue is one of my favorites because of the elegant, industrial vibes. Their family and friends were ready to celebrate and it was one of the most lively receptions I’ve ever photographed! Thank you to Amanda and Chandler for having me capture your day and I hope you had the most wonderful honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!!!
